Technically speaking, no line can ever be perfectly straight. Should one zoom in, it would become pixelated, almost, and it would become apparent that it is not at all straight.
Furthermore, no line we see can ever be a line, merely a representation of a line. After all, a line is denoted as "a length without breadth". Therefore, we can never actually experience a line. The lines you see in mathematics exams are not truly lines at all.

Also, I'd like to recommend Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol to everyone. Solid acting, basic plot that is still very entertaining, it's full of super-futuristic gadgets, none of which are impossible, in my opinion. They each have limitations, of some sort. But it's still a good spy action adventure. 8/10

Yeah. I realised it's fiction. But I thought it was a good opportunity to cut down on the swear words in my vocabulary WHILST fangirling, so I embraced it with open arms. After trying to take the word 'right' oit of my speech due to C making me cry overthe poor little discriminated-againsy zigzag chldren, it seemed a minor adaptations. Also I say 'fours' instead of 'bye' due to an Artemis Fowl obsession a few years ago. :P It's mostly a way of letting out my need to obsess. Like how people buy the people they love flowers or whatever to express their love for them . . . ?
I have trouble admitteding the Stormlight Archive doesn't exist, though. It's too real not to exist.

Shallan uses 'Stormfather' to swear, and it has enough syllables to substitue 'oh my gosh' - which I have problems substituring.

@Kas: We have no proof the world exists. Everything we percieve, we get from electrical impulses in our head. Who's to say one set of electrical impulses are more real than another set? Aren't all electrical impulses equally real?
Also, there may be people in a future Stormlight Archive world who read stories about pur world and think it's fictional. We have no proof that other worlds, including fictional ones, do not exist.
I tend to believe fictional worlds do exist, tbh, but that we can only percieve them throygh what an author writes, and what the author writes may inaccurately portray the world. I also believe that imagined things are as real as real things - just, real things are real on this plane of reality, and imagined things are not.
But even without that, imaginings are real as imaginings. And some imaginings are very vivid in their reality.

I've been pretty good! Lots of stuff to do, y'know. School is more boring than usual. I've been studying for this neuroscience competition coming up in two weeks time. We got given the booklet of information we need to learn last week and it's sixty pages long D: I'm still on page eight. It's haaaard.
